Affectionately known as “The Biggest Stepper”, BigX is an upcoming Southern rapper from the heart of Dallas, Texas. BigX was a star football player from his early childhood up until his freshman year of college where he was sidetracked by trouble and forced to find a new route. His first mixtape “Back from the Dead” and following singles “Big Stepper”, “Mr. Trouble,” “Safehouse,” and his most recent single “Texas” have helped him gain significant attention in recent months. With a new sound, new visuals and co-signs from legends such as Bun B, Erykah Badu, and Shaq, BigX has all eyes on him in 2024.

Her journey began with a love for poetry and freestyling, eventually leading to a successful career in music. Known for her distinct flow and confident persona, Banks has expanded her presence by joining Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and becoming an ambassador for NYAK liquor. With her growing influence in both music and entertainment, she’s positioned for even greater mainstream success.

If you are a WIU student, a valid WIU Student ID is REQUIRED upon entry.

The following is prohibited at West Fest 2025:

  • Outside food & beverage

  • Weapons of any kind or items construed as weapons

  • Illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages

  • Marijuana or cannabis products

  • Umbrellas

  • Whistles, bullhorns, air horns, noise makers

  • Laser pointers

  • Camping chairs

  • Pepper spray

  • Winter or heavy outside clothing

  • Any bag that exceeds 4.5” x 6.5” is NOT allowed

What you need to know:

  • Doors open at 7 pm. Show starts at 8pm in the University Union Grand Ballroom.

  • It is at the discretion of the WestFest staff what you can and can’t bring into the concert.

  • If you are not wearing the item of clothing you may not bring it in.

  • There is not a coat check or place to hold your items that are denied entry.

  • The Office of Student Engagement is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Throwing items onto the stage is prohibited.

  • There is NO public meet and greet available.

  • Once you enter the concert you are able to leave at any time, but you will not be let back in.

  • No food or drink will be sold.

  • 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult; 18 years and older. A photo ID is required.
